Our truck obsessed little boy.

One weekend we were out running our errands like we usually do. We stopped for lunch somewhere and Jaiden looked over and saw a free car publication so he just had to pick one up. By the time we got home (a whole 15 min drive), we looked in the backseat to find this...

Thanksgiving

While I'm at it, I'm going to add the pictures from Thanskgiving. We went to FL this year and in true Jaiden style, he had a blast. I forgot to bring my camera the the actual Thanksgiving day festivities but it was similar to years past. Jaiden did get Uncle Tommy to put him in a real dump truck but I think it was a bit too big for him yet. As usual, we ate a lot and got lot of hugs a kisses. It was Florida so the weather was warm but nice. Too cold for the pool but not the water hose. Here are a few pictures for Jaidens water hose adventure.

Halloween catch-up

So I'm finally getting around to posting the pictures from Halloween. We had a pretty quite one this year. We went to a fall festival at a church up the street from the office but I think it was just what Jaiden needed. It wasn't too overwhelming but it was just enough for him to get the idea. By the end of the night, he REALLY got the idea. He discovered that candy is good! Here are a few pictures of our little adventure.

enjoy,

the new truck drive...(Oct 20)

Today must have been the most perfect day we've had in a LONG time. We didn't have any major plans so we decide to take a drive in the new truck. It was one of those things that you can't plan but when they happen, its just pure joy. Anna and I were quite comical trying to get the top down for the first time, (it took us about an hour) but after the first time, it's been a piece of cake. All we knew is that we wanted to head north (which I think is our general consensus this past year but...) After a few pit stops, we ended up at Tallulah Gorge. We had a nice little walk then got back in the truck. We saw our favorite "farm"/ veg stand so we just had to stop. After some ice cream and a fried pie we hit the road again. This time, our destination way home. There is really nothing like the feeling of the wind in your hair on a cool fall afternoon.

Enjoy the picture,

A last bit of summer

Usually at this time of year, the weather does a bit of flip-flopping. A little cold, a little warm, then a little cold again. This weekend we had a bit of the warm so we decided to enjoy it in the sprinkler. Then momma got a little carried away witht the camera (as usual.)

Enjoy,

A hint of fall

Saturday, we got our first hint of fall. We went to visit some of our clients up in Dawsonville, GA. We do some work with Amicacola Falls so we went to deliver their latest order. I was such a beautiful day. After our meeting at the falls, we went up the street to Burts Pumpkin Patch. It was about 6:00 in the evening and it was about 70 degrees. To say the least, it was perfect. Of course I forgot the camera so I took a few pictures with my phone. I hope you enjoy.

the pillowcase

Not so long ago, we decided to get Jaiden a pillow. He loved it (and still does) but since then, momma has been on the look out for more baby pillowcases. The 1 pillowcase we have now in getting kind of stinky so I decided I needed to do something. Tonight we were at Wal-Mart looking for some PFD's (see the previous post) and we stumble upon none other than a "Cars" pillowcase. Of course he HAD to have it. So when we got home tonight, we HAD to open the package. This is the result. Yes, he is riding his bike with the pillowcase over his whole body. I was laughing so had that I could barley grab the camera. I hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Nanay's New Toys

In our quest to always keep life interesting, Anna has found a new venture: motorized surfboards and kayak's. She is starting a new business selling them so she has been quite busy lately. Jaiden, not wanting to be left out of the fun, decided he need to try them out so here you go... He was sitting in the boat and signing "water". It was priceless. Maybe one day we'll be able to take him out but for not, he'll just have to play in the office...

The County Fair

Yesterday, we had the idea to go to the County Fair. Momma doesn't remember ever going so with Grandma in town, we decided we needed an adventure. The 3 of us had a great time. Jaiden didn't really know what to think at first but after about an hour or 2, he finally got down (from mom's arms) and explored a bit. We got to go into the petting zoo and watch all of the pretty lights and sound. Grandma's favorite part was the "Cow Show". The local schools (I think the 4H Club) have the kids raise animals to show so we were lucky enought to catch the cow portions and I'll tell you what, I didn't know how much I didn't know about cows. It's was very entertaining... Anyways, Jaiden's favorite part was the food. This is a picture os him eating one of Grandma's onion rings. He was sucking it like a noodle. Well, We all had a great time and managed to leave without spending $100.00. (I wasn't aware that those things could be so expensive...) Who knew. Enjoy,

the park

It's been a while since I've added any pictures so here you go. 2 weeks ago, we decided that we wanted to try out a new park by the house. It is a really neat park with lots of stuff for kids of all ages. Jaiden's favorite part was one of the play sets. There were some musical tubes that you can hit and the make noise, and of course, the sterring wheel. He's still not really sure about slides but we had a great time with all of the other stuff.
